Employability Skills
IB2K employability tutors work closely with adults who either need assistance in preparing for entering into work and/or need to develop new skills to gain employment. Our programme is a mixture of computer based online activities which is then re-enforced by group activities lead by the tutor.
We have developed a network of employers who are willing to offer work trials so that they can gain experience of the job and in some cases this can lead to direct employment.
We also invite Job Centre Plus advisors into our centre's so that they may offer our learners back to work benefit calculations and provide job opportunity information
