IB2K Limited is proud to be a Yorkshire-based private limited company, formed in 2001. IB2K's mission is to support and empower individuals, communities, and businesses to achieve their potential. This we see as fundamental to the social and economic success of the region as a whole.
IB2K is responsible for considering published reports and guidance on the state of the local economy, education and social environment. We consider strategic aims bid to various funders to support workforce skills development and adult education in general.
IB2K specialises in supported e-learning and training linked to Information Learning Technologies (ILT). Working with the government initiative learndirect we offer training from Desktop IT, through Skills for Life, Business/ Management and Retail. In most instances we can offer certification and NVQ assessment.
IB2K is committed to providing a seamless and effective business support service to the owner(s)/ manager(s) of local businesses, including pre-start and business start-up. This commitment is backed up by a number of quality assurance framework achievements, namely Customer First. This quality assurance does not stop with the organisation. IB2K Business staff undertake a process of continued personal and professional development and have achieved NVQs at Level 3 in Business Support and Level 4 Business Advice.
Whether you are unemployed or employed the Next Step information, advice and guidance (IAG) service is open to you. You can receive one-to-one support from an experienced and qualified adviser on a range of issues relating to learning or looking for work. This can involve course information, careers advice, help with applying for work (CVs, interview skills, job search etc) and confidence building. This service is funded by one of our partner organisations.
